Land for Maine’s Future needs your support

A very important bill this legislative session would finally provide some new funding for the Land for Maine’s Future program. I hope you will contact your legislators and urge them to support LMF.

I am proud to say I helped start the Land for Maine’s Future program, which has protected more than 600,000 acres of our states most important recreational and natural lands in all 16 counties.

But LMF suffered during the previous governor’s tenure, and it is time to revive this important program.

I expect you have enjoyed some of the lands that LMF protected. But every year there are more opportunities to conserve and protect more of Maine’s wonderful areas, from hiking trails to wildlife habitat.

So please join us now in advocating for funding for the Land for Maine’s Future program.
